Foodland, a hidden Hawaiian gem for gifts and souvenirs

Good Friday from the west side of Hawaii!

Aloha, my friend. I am deeply enamored with the Foodland market on Oahu at the moment. It’s like Whole Foods but with a local vibe.

Foodland is the best!

We’ve been there three times in the past three days to pick up local snacks, drinks, sushi, and pre-made bento boxes (portable meals with rice, protein, and a vegetable), and each time, I swear there’s something new and good. Never tried it before.

Case in point – a local brand of herbal tea called Shaka. I had Lemon Lokalani Rose the other day and now I’m just shaking a little thinking, yum!

What’s great about Foodland, too, is that you can’t even make the typical locally made gifts and souvenirs. In addition to snacks and tea, you’ll also find cards, body care products, candles, and more. I found them in end caps all over the store.

A few things that caught my eye…

There are several locations throughout Hawaii, so if you see one, it’s worth the time to pop in and look around.

I hope life is good on your side of the keyboard!
