Can you believe it’s almost the end of the school year? Loved Tabs this time of year. His schedule from late May to mid-June was particularly busy due to his commencement speeches at various colleges not only in the United States but around the world.
Although he was not quite a scholarly Rosie, he did manage to earn several honorary degrees and lead the Masters program for Felines in Digital and Social Media at Stanford. (NYU tried to turn him away, but Tabs was 100% West Coast.)
Tabs’ academic success has penetrated into the fields of technology and software engineering. He also led the team that created the first paw recognition program for iPhones, and his sleek body inspired the design for robotic cat assistants. (FYI, that project was put on hold after an incident involving an evil feline assistant AI who refused to deliver gravy on order.)
I tried to take Rosie out for a scheduled end of the year today, but she wasn’t interested in cooperating.
Will she wear a small hat with a tassel? No. Will she wear a gown? No.
She only wanted to read their scientific literary journals and study spring cloud formations outside.
Such is the life of a science-obsessed cat.
